Wataniya Sponsored College of Business Administration’s Career Fair



As a continuous evolution of its recruitment strategy within the telecom sector, and as part of its social responsibility to encourage and motivate the upcoming new generation of Kuwaiti graduates, Wataniya Telecom has announced its silver sponsorship to the College of Business Administration’s career fair. It was organized by the Student Training Center in collaboration with Kuwait University graduates and took place from March 27th till the 29th at the College of Business Administration campus in Shuwaikh.

This career fair marks the 17th this year, and aimed at familiarizing Kuwaiti graduates with job vacancies and opportunities available for them at the companies participating in this career fair; in addition to trainings and internships during the course of their study or even for post-graduation.
In this regards, Majdi Ghannam Chief Human Resources & Admin Services Officer at Wataniya Telecom stated that the long-term strategic objective behind sponsoring CBA career fair was to capture the attention of fresh graduates with high potential and to grant them a chance to join the private sector in one of its agile industries, mainly the ICT (information and communications technology) market.  

Ghannam added “Wataniya Telecom is always doing its best to stay close to the youth segment which constitutes the most important pillar of our country’s future manpower pool and its future leadership base. And this is why we work hard to provide suitable job vacancies for fresh graduates and to attract competent candidates and meet their aspirations to fulfill key posts in the company’s different operational venues.”
To achieve this goal, Wataniya Telecom will offer a series of training courses and professional guidance to its newly hired employees as it will also offer a career development program that is linked to its performance appraisal program. In addition, Wataniya will continue investing in its annual scholarship program which aims at encouraging its staff to pursue higher studies and develop their capabilities that most match the requirements needed in different departments at the company.
