• 3. What are the services available with postpaid roaming? With Postpaid roaming you can make outgoing calls, receive calls, send/receive SMS, use GPRS service where available, send/receive MMS where available, use Fax & Data, WHO service, etc. Back to top
• 4. Is there a credit limit on the postpaid roaming? On postpaid roaming you are entitled to use the service up to a limit of 50 KD, which includes both local usage in Kuwait and usage while roaming. Over this limit outgoing calls will be blocked. Please note that as soon as the bill is cleared, your outgoing calling facility is reactivated immediately.

• 5. How does international roaming work? With international roaming, when you arrive at your destination, turn on your phone and wait for a few seconds. You'll be automatically connected to a local network that has a roaming agreement with Wataniya. Please note that there are often a number of networks in a single country that Wataniya has a roaming agreement with to offer you a wider choice, so you can select the one you want to if you wish. To manually select different networks, please consult the owner's manual for your phone. Some phone models may not automatically connect to an overseas network, and may need to be manually logged on to a local network in the country you are visiting. • 6. How do I make a call to a mobile when I am in a foreign country? When dialing a local mobile number while on a foreign network it is better to dial the complete local mobile number with the country code.
  
  For example: If you are roaming in UAE, dial "+971 50 454xxxx". This would ensure that you reach the person you are dialing as each country has its own local dialing pattern. Back to top
• 7. How do I make a call to a local fixed line when I am in a foreign country? Make sure you dial the complete country code and local area code when dialing a local fixed line number while on a foreign network.

• 8. How do I call an international roaming user around the world? If the Wataniya mobile phone number of the person you are calling is 636xxxx and you want to call this number when you are overseas, then you need to dial it as if you are making an international call to the number in Kuwait, e.g. +965 636xxxx.
  
  This includes calling another international roaming user who is in the same country as you are.
  
  TIP - When using a mobile phone on roaming networks around the world, you can enter a + at the start of the international number you dial (instead of 00), this will automatically tell the network you are trying to make an international call.
