Recharge Me

If there is no top-up machine in sight when you need a quick recharge, you can send an SMS to your friends and they can send the credit you need. This is a free of charge service for prepaid users.

To send a Recharge Me:

There are two easy options to ask for your recharge:

Option 1

  • Dial *3* mobile number # (Example: *3*6XXXXXXX#)

Option 2

  • Send RM and the mobile number of the person who will send you the credit to 1991
    (Example: SMS RM6XXXXXXX to 1991)
  • The receiver has the choice to accept with a Y or reject your request for credit by typing N in the text message reply

Note: All postpaid and prepaid subscribers can send you credit

Charges

This service is free for the prepaid subscriber asking for the recharge. The prepaid subscriber will receive 450 fils via Recharge Me, and the person sending the credit will be charged 500 fils upon confirmation.
